Just outside of Stockholm lies completely new world of serene nature seemingly untouched by civilization - a cluster of more than 30.000 islands, skerries and rocks that create an incredible scenery and together compose the one of the largest archipelago in the world. Each single of those islands with its own unique charm, it's own story to tell.
Join me on this unique journey to the beautiful Landsort island that has everything you can dream of as photographer - from rough coastlines and seascapes, to mystical forests and a magnificent lighthouse as well as a picturesque fishing village. I am sure you will be astonished and inspired by the scenic beauty of Landsort!
On Friday afternoon, we will reach the island after a short boat ride from Ankarudden, a small harbor south of Nynäshamn. If we are lucky, we will be able to spot seals from the boat or even the majestic sea eagle patrolling the coastline from the sky!
For three days (incl. two nights), we will explore Landsort with special focus on nature/landscape photography. We will visit the best photo locations on the island and you will learn how to take outstanding photos - from the rocky coastline to the mystical, primeval forests. We will take advantage of the most beautiful light and mainly photograph in the mornings and evenings. During the day, we have time to edit our photos and I will show you how to get the most out of them in just a few steps.
Together we will improve your photography skills and you will be able to create your own stories through photos that speak for themselves. I make sure that you will have an unforgettable photography experience and go home with the feeling to have learned something new!

Transport:
We will meet at around 15.00 on Friday at the harbor in Ankarudden, south of Nynäshamn. You can get there either by car or bus. You can book a pick up in Stockholm optionally when booking the photo tour. After that we will take the ferry to the island. On the island itself we will mainly walk and don’t need a car. Please do not expect to arrive back in Ankarudden on Sunday earlier than 15.00.
Physical Requirements
Please note that we will do some shorter hikes on this trip. The hikes will neither be long nor steep. However, it is important that all participants take care of themselves, especially when we shoot on the cliffs by the coast. The stones can be very slippery. If any location is out of your comfort zone, you’re more than welcome to shoot another location, stay at the hotel and rest, or wait until we get to another more comfortable location for you.
Experience Level
We welcome all experience levels, going from beginners to experienced photographers. A good mix of experience levels means we can also learn from each other. It is important that you bring your own camera and tripod, so you can get the most out of this trip!
