Höga Kusten - The Swedish High Coast.
The High Coast of Sweden (in Swedish "Höga Kusten") is surprisingly rather unknown, although it is listed as UNESCO World Heritage for being the world's highest coastline at more than 280 meters above sea level.
Formed by gigantic glaciers of the Ice Age thousands of years ago, the emerge of the Swedish High Coast from the sea has created an unique land- and seascape. It offers breathtaking views from the top of steep granite cliffs overlooking deep woods, river valleys and the archipelago of this island-splashed coastal region in the Gulf of Bothnia in the northern part of the Baltic Sea.
